AARP and the Mohler Center work hand in hand in creating many diverse opportunities for persons over the age of 50. Programs such as AARP Safe Driver's (55 Alive), tax preparation, Lunch and Learns, and many others help us improve the quality of lives and provide important information to members and the community.

American Red Cross
The American Red Cross continues to provide ample help and services to those in need. The Susquehanna Valley Red Cross is actively involved in the community and provides opportunities for volunteers to donate blood, learn health and safety training, aid in disaster relief, create care packages for service men and women, and much more.

Dauphin County AAA

Area Agency on Aging helps senior centers in their agencies county to provide maximum resources for their members. Your Area Agency on Aging can answer a variety of questions regarding senior health, services , and events. The local Dauphin County office can be reached at (717) 255-2790.

Department of Human Services

Pennsylvania's Department of Human Services provides important information for seniors and individuals in many different situations. Specifically, the department helps inform seniors in support services, long-term care help, Medicare, pharmacy services, alternatives to nursing homes, heating assistance, mental health and abuse services, and much more.

National Council On Aging
The National Council on Aging (NCOA) is a governmental organization focused on providing older adults with the latest news on health, economic security, and senior advocacy.

Pennsylvania Senior Center's webpage is a resource designed to help local seniors and centers stay updated on events, specialty sessions, and programs.

People Movers

People Movers provide transportation services to the citizens of the Township of Derry who are 60 years with limited handicaps or disabilities and persons who aid or assist the above. They have provided this unique service for 37 years.
