Past Trips

New York City Theater Trips:

These Big Apple trips are always our most popular! In the past we have traveled to New York to see the highly acclaimed Jersey Boys featuring the music  of Frankie Valley and the Four seasons, enjoyed the "high-kicking" talents of the dazzling Rockettes during the holiday season at Radio City Music Hall, and we now look forward to hearing the breathtaking sounds of the Phantom of the Opera.  During these trips we also take the time to fill our stomachs as well as our imaginations. Stopping by the famous Carmines Italian Restaurant, where generous platters of delicious food keep coming and coming, is a crowd favorite.

St. Michaels and Tilghman Island, Maryland:

Another much loved trip was a day in one of the last fishing villages on the Chesapeake Bay. We had a guided tour of the island followed by a delicious traditional Eastern Shore lunch at Harrison's Chesapeake House. We also experienced a one-hour boat tour aboard the "Express Royale" where we learned about fishing practices and how they've changed. To top off the wonderful day we visited the quaint Victorian town of St. Michaels, where we toured St. Mary's Square Museum and the beautiful Christ Church before free time for exploring.

Annapolis, Maryland:

On this trip travelers truly enjoyed the historic stops which were vastly informative and educational. To begin the day we boarded a motorized tour of the historic sites and state buildings. After the tour we had a break to enjoy lunch at the infamous Phillips Seafood Restaurant and then were off to a ninety minute cruise featuring the Thomas Point Lighthouse. To complete the spectacular day we  took time to sightsee and tour the Annapolis Naval Academy.

Philadelphia Outings:

We have visited this historic city many times to tour the sites, travel into the past, find inspiration in art, and much more. One of the favorite outings is the Philadelphia Flower Show. Each time we attend this spring event there is nothing equal to the colorful floral exhibitions. We also enjoy going down to Philadelphia to experience the arts and special exhibts at museums like the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Franklin Institute and many more.

Local Trips

Whitaker Center and Strawberry Square:

The Whitaker Center and Strawberry Square continues to provide exceptional travel experiences. In the past we have gone to see many astounding Imax films, discover the Science Center, and explore Strawberry Square. Imax specials such as Stargaze: Hubble's View of the Universe, Under the Sea, Roving Mars, and Everest are always exhilarating visualizations of sound and color. In addition to the Imax, the Science Center features shows such as the Forces of Nature, the Titanic Exhibition, Carnival of Health, and many more exhibits that keep us captivated in learning. In the heart of Harrisburg, Strawberry Square gives us many options for special dining and unique shopping experiences. All of these events have been enjoyed in past trips, and the short trip across the river continues to be one of our favorites.

Take Me Out to the Ballgame: Outings at the Senator's Stadium:

This American past time is always a fun and memorable event. Our baseball lovers always come ready to cheer! Win or lose, we spend the day routing for the home team, eating big ball park hot dogs or enjoying the buffett, singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame," and socializing with fellow baseball fans.

Lake Tobias:

Each time we take this trip we keep getting requests to return. So far we have gone twice to this local attraction in Halifax, PA and stopped at a trendy restaurant for lunch on the way home. This amazing Wildlife park takes you on a Safari tour across over 150 acres of rolling land where you see herds of wild and exotic animals from around the world. Many of the animals are also presented in a "zoo-like" setting for you to enjoy at your leisure as you stroll around the park. This local attraction continues to provide unique animal encounters and is enjoyed by many.
